Julie Leonard

CURRENT WORK

Capturing London is on display now until September 2017 at The Broadgate Tower in the City of London, Primrose Street EC2A 2EW. This exhibition is part of Broadgate and British Land's arts progarmme Urban Eden Season. Viewing is by appointment only. If you’d like to take a look at Julie’s Broadgate Tower exhibition please confirm your visit by emailing art curator Rosie Glenn at rg@rosieglennfineart.co.uk

This is a series of artwork featuring cityscapes, landscapes and portraits on prints taken from drawings done in situ on her iPad or iPhone.

The show seeks to show how sustainable places enhance wellbeing, attracting and linking people from different ages and walks of life. Some works were created during visits to Broadgate Tower, while others feature nearby Liverpool Street Station and relate to her role as Crossrail Artist-in-Residence combining views of contemporary London with those of the archaeological discoveries of Bedlam alongside scenes of regeneration of the City.
